hands-on accountant

who can manage finance, compliance, and operational reconciliation for a fast-growing D2C brand.

Role Overview We are hiring a

full-time Accountant

who will manage day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, payroll, vendor reconciliation, and stock reconciliation for our Bangalore operations. This role requires someone comfortable working in a

startup environment , coordinating with warehouse teams, vendors, and management to ensure financial discipline and compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Filings

Manage

GST compliance and filings

for the company. Handle

TDS calculations, deductions, and filings . Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain proper documentation. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain

day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping

in accounting systems. Record and reconcile transactions across D2C sales, marketplaces, vendors, and operational expenses. Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing reports for management. Payments & Payroll

Manage

vendor payments and expense reimbursements . Process

employee payroll

and maintain payroll records Track payables and ensure timely settlements. Stock & Vendor Reconciliation

Conduct

physical stock reconciliation

at the warehouse and factory. Perform

vendor reconciliation with suppliers

and production partners. Maintain accurate inventory records aligned with the company’s

production model . Warehouse Coordination

Visit the

Bangalore warehouse / factory approximately 3 times per week

to: Conduct stock verification Reconcile production and supplier accounts Coordinate inventory records with finance data. Financial Controls

Assist in building internal

financial controls, reporting systems, and accounting processes

as the business scales.

Candidate Requirements

Experience 3–5 years of accounting experience. (exceptional candidates with lesser experience can also be considered) Education Minimum Bachelor’s degree in

Commerce, Accounting, or Finance . Or CA Inter level. Preferred Background Experience working with

D2C brands, e-commerce companies, or consumer startups

is highly preferred. Skills Strong understanding of

GST, TDS, and statutory compliance . Experience with

accounting software and bookkeeping systems . Strong reconciliation skills across

inventory, vendors, and financial records . Comfortable working in a

startup environment with evolving processes .

Work Structure

Hybrid role based in Bangalore Minimum

3 days per week in office Regular visits to

warehouse / factory for stock reconciliation
