Stores Assistant (Junior Level Only) – Food Manufacturing Location: Chennai – Mambakkam Industry: Food Manufacturing / FMCG Employment Type: Full-Time CTC: ₹2.50 Lakhs – ₹3.25 Lakhs per annum Experience: Minimum 2–3 Years Job Summary We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Stores Assistant (Junior Level) to manage store operations at our food manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing materials, maintaining inventory records, and supporting smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities • Receive incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies and verify quantity against purchase orders • Maintain accurate inventory records in Tally ERP / stock registers • Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials as per food safety standards • Issue materials to production based on approved requisitions • Maintain FIFO / FEFO inventory practices for food industry compliance • Conduct daily stock checks and assist in periodic stock audits • Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Quality teams • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation • Track minimum stock levels and report shortages Requirements • Minimum 2–3 years experience in stores / warehouse operations • Experience in food manufacturing / FMCG industry preferred • Tally ERP knowledge is mandatory • Basic knowledge of inventory documentation and stock management • Good communication and coordination skills • Hindi speaking is an added advantage • Must be willing to work on shift basis (Day / Night shifts as per factory operations) Key Skills • Inventory Management • Store Operations • Material Receiving & Issing • Tally ERP • FIFO / FEFO • Stock Documentation • MS Excel (Basic) How to Apply Apply by sending your resume to:
