Software Quality Engineer II

Essential Functions:

- Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test cases. - Execute and maintain automated test suites for API and UI testing. - Perform manual testing as needed to ensure full feature coverage. - Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities within Agile sprints. - Apply AI-driven test generation tools and autonomous agents to improve test coverage and efficiency. - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts. - Implement and maintain AI-powered test agents for: - Automated test creation - Intelligent regression selection - Automation script development - Self-healing automation scripts - Use tools such as Selenium, WebDriver, Postman, Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, and MongoDB. - Work with Linux, Docker containers, and AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, DynamoDB). - Identify, isolate, document, and track defects through resolution. - Generate test data to validate critical business logic. - Troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis. - Replicate production defects in QA environments. - Work closely with Product Owners to meet sprint goals and deadlines. - Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Provide feedback on product quality, usability, and process improvements. - Support deployment activities in QA and production environments using automation.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of programming experience (Java or other languages). - Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation and manual testing - Exposure to AI concepts like prompt engineering or agentic AI, required - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely. - Comfortable communicating in a multicultural work environment. - Strong documentation skills with attention to grammar and detail.
