Project Delivery Specialist

Project Manager responsible for achieving the project objectives. Project managers direct the planning and execution of a project and personally commit to the success of the project. They nurture the project to meet its objectives. To set scope and develop project plan, business case, in line with the Business / Department strategy, project and functional standards ensuring a successful delivery of the aimed project result. The Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering the project on time, in full and on/below budget. The Project Manager should also make sure that the project complies with the AkzoNobel Policies and Procedures for projects. Prepare the project & create the project plan Execute the project plan Handover the result & close the project Ensure proper stakeholder management and deliver value for the customer Define and negotiate project objectives, deliverables and roles when working with outsourced business partners Promote best practice methods, approaches and practices for project management across the AkzoNobel community Organize post project reviews and document lessons learned and contribute to have Projects Management and standard Project Management methodology continuously optimized BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related Analytical field required. Certifications in either: PMI/PMP, IPMA or Prince2 Experience in Project Management and / or experience in R&D / IT or other relevant experience needed for the project
