ETL DataStage & CP4D Developer

Position Title:

ETL DataStage & CP4D Developer Brief description: Hands-on experience in ETL development, with deep expertise in IBM Infosphere DataStage and Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D). Must have a proven track record of managing high-volume data integration projects, specifically transitioning or integrating on-premises ETL workloads with Google Big Query. This role requires technical autonomy to lead the development of complex interfaces for the Collections and Finance, Accounting & Tax portfolios, ensuring bank-grade data integrity and compliance. Work Location: Chennai Employment: Full time Experience level: 5+ years of experience Key responsibilities: Lead the design and development of DataStage parallel jobs and sequences to ingest and transform FCB/IB data into the Core Platform. Architect and optimize ETL pipelines within CP4D to manage the 100 jobs and 50+ tables required for the Core systems. Implement complex transformation logic to ensure outbound files meet Metro2 compliance for all five Credit Bureaus within the Collections portfolio. Perform performance tuning of ETL jobs to ensure high-volume batch processing completes within the Bank's defined nightly windows. Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for advanced file handling, pre/post-job processing, and automated alerting. Ensure all data movements adhere to bank-grade security requirements, including the implementation of PGP encryption routines within DataStage. Provide comprehensive documentation for all ETL designs, mapping documents, and recovery procedures to ensure operational stability.

Required skills: ETL Tooling: IBM Infosphere DataStage v11.x and Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D). Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Google Big Query (BQ) and Google Cloud Storage. Database: Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and Big Query SQL. Scripting/OS: Unix/Linux Shell Scripting and Python. Compliance/Security: Metro2 reporting formats, PGP Encryption, and secure SFTP protocols
