Job Overview:
A
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Sales Executive
is responsible for driving revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities for corporate events, conferences, and incentive programs.
The role involves developing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships, preparing customized proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of the MICE industry and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Identify and acquire new corporate clients in the
MICE Industry
through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship building.
Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
Sales Planning & Strategy:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Identify market opportunities and implement strategies to maximize business growth.
Proposal Development:
Create tailored and compelling sales proposals aligned with client requirements.
Clearly present the value and benefits of the companyโs MICE offerings.
Sales Execution:
Deliver professional presentations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new MICE business opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal departments such as
operations, product, and finance teams
to ensure smooth event planning and execution.
Ensure all client requirements are communicated effectively across departments.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business leads.
Stay updated on developments within the
MICE Industry .
Reporting & CRM Management:
Maintain accurate sales records and update information in
CRM systems .
Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
Client Satisfaction:
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and event lifecycle.
Address client queries and concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Sales Expertise:
Proven experience in
MICE sales
with strong sales, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively.
Business Acumen:
Strong strategic thinking and business understanding with a customer-focused approach.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
tools such as
Microsoft Excel ,
Microsoft PowerPoint , and experience with
CRM software .
Industry Knowledge:
Good understanding of the
MICE Event Management Industry
and awareness of current market trends.
Travel Requirement:
Willingness to travel
domestically and internationally
for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
