Trainn is a Chargebee portfolio product solving a critical problem for enterprises: how to deliver consistent customer education and training programs at scale to accelerate product adoption, onboarding, and customer retention. We move fast, we're transparent, and we're looking for a sharp, hungry Account Executive who wants to be the architect of our revenue engine.
Responsibilities:
As Trainn’s first dedicated Account Executive, you will own the entire sales cycle — converting inbound interest into qualified demos, running those demos, and closing high-value enterprise deals. This is one of our most critical hires and will play a foundational role in shaping Trainn’s revenue engine.
You must have a consultative approach, be technically savvy, and work strategically with the target market to understand the prospects’ business objectives and determine how Trainn can support these objectives by providing recommendations on the best way forward.
What You'll Be Doing:
Cultivate sales through inbound leads to current customers
Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Educate and nurture prospects, run tailored demos, and help them understand how Trainn can solve their business challenges.
Clearly articulate Trainn’s value proposition and competitive advantages.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of how Trainn is positioned, implemented, and supported.
Lead customers through the end-to-end sales cycle in partnership with Trainn’s CSM.
Build strategic executive relationships along with strong champions both vertically and horizontally
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and engineering teams
Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within the CRM system
Stay on top of product updates and new features as we ship weekly. Understand customer use cases deeply to personalize outreach and build credibility.
Share prospect and market insights to inform our product roadmap.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in end-to-end sales and knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
Experience as an Account Executive selling SaaS in the US market
Consistent success in attaining sales quota month-on-month
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-level
Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred
