Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Automation & Data Activation Engineer with strong expertise in Braze, SQL, Hightouch, and Liquid templating.
This role bridges data engineering and lifecycle marketing — translating customer data into intelligent, personalized, and scalable engagement programs.
You will work closely with marketing, product, and data teams to design segmentation logic, build automated campaigns, and ensure accurate data activation across platforms.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Braze
- Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, segmentation logic)
- Experience with Hightouch (or similar reverse ETL tools)
- Solid experience using Liquid templating for dynamic messaging
- Experience building and optimizing lifecycle campaigns
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture in marketing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies across systems
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Familiarity with Amplitude
- Experience with Segment CDP
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Experience in growth marketing or experimentation environments
