PL/SQL Developer

Overview

PracticeSuite, a leading SaaS company providing cloud-based practice management and

medical billing solutions.We are looking for a PLSQL Developer to join us. This role is focused

on database development, performance optimization, and ensuring that data systems meet

the business needs of the organization. It requires a mix of technical expertise in Oracle

databases (specifically PL/SQL), strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and the

ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

The role also emphasizes continuous learning and involvement in all stages of the software

development process.

Role & responsibilities

• Design stable, reliable and effective database programs to ensure that data

processing production systems meet user needs

• PL/SQL and SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly developed and existing

applications

• Provide data analysis and validation

• Leverage Oracle 10g/11g features to their fullest on a large-scale system.

• Identification of performance issues on production and testing systems.

• Interact with internal and external clients to understand requirements, explain

issues and prioritize work.

• Involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle and demonstrate

abilities to learn both the business processes as well as new and existing pl/sql

technologies

Requirements:

- Basic knowledge of Oracle database architecture - Advanced database development experience (Oracle SQL/PLSQL) - Knowledge of software development - Strong SQL development, SQL analytics and tuning skills - Excellent analytical and organizational skills - An ability to understand front-end users’ requirements and a problem-solving - attitude - Strong communications skills (both verbal & written)

Location: Kochi, Kerala (Complete WFO)
