SAP OTC Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced

SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Functional Consultant

to support a client engagement focused on

Sales Order Processing Automation . The consultant will work closely with U.S.-based business SMEs to analyze current order intake processes and help implement an

AI-driven solution that converts customer purchase orders (PDF/email attachments) into SAP sales orders automatically .

This role requires strong

SAP SD/OTC functional expertise , excellent

communication skills , and hands-on experience supporting

implementation or rollout projects .

The consultant will collaborate with AI/automation teams to design the data mapping and integration required to create

SAP sales orders through APIs/BAPIs . this is great opportunity to explore AI capabilities in SAP. Key ResponsibilitiesSAP OTC Functional

Work directly with

client business SMEs

to understand current

sales order intake and processing workflows . Lead

functional design for automated sales order creation

in SAP. Configure and support

SAP SD Order Management processes. Sales Order Automation Initiative

Analyze the

existing process of receiving customer purchase orders via email with PDF attachments . Work with AI/automation teams building

document-reading solutions that extract PO information from PDFs . Define the

mapping of extracted PO data to SAP sales order structures . Design validation rules for automated order creation. SAP Integration & Interfaces

Collaborate with technical teams to integrate automation platforms with SAP using: SAP APIs / BAPIs IDocs Middleware integration tools. Support development and testing of integrations that

create sales orders automatically in SAP . Implementation & Rollout Support

Participate in

design workshops, functional specification preparation, testing cycles, and deployment . Support

UAT, defect resolution, and go-live readiness . Work with business users to ensure smooth adoption of the automation solution. Communication & Client Interaction

Act as the

primary SAP OTC functional contact

for business stakeholders. Conduct workshops, demos, and solution walkthroughs with business users. Provide functional documentation and training as required.
