Project Manager

📍 India

Manufacturing Pratibha Group

Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a driven and empathetic Project Manager to lead our community health and CSR programs in tribal and semi-urban areas of South Gujarat. This is a ground-up role that blends strategic thinking with field execution — you will audit existing CSR impact, design outreach initiatives, and build government partnerships that deliver real healthcare access to underserved communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. CSR Audit & Impact Assessment Conduct a structured audit of all current CSR activities — mapping expenditures, beneficiary reach, and measurable outcomes. Build an honest baseline of what is working, where resources are underutilized, and present actionable recommendations to leadership. 2. Field Outreach & Eye Camp Execution Plan and execute eye screening camps in tribal belts near Surat. Identify high-need villages, coordinate logistics, mobilize communities through local leaders and panchayats, and manage a small field team. Screen participants for cataract eligibility using standardized protocols while ensuring dignity and efficiency. 3. Government Hospital Partnerships Build and manage formal partnerships with government hospitals and district health authorities to facilitate free or subsidized cataract surgeries. Navigate government processes, manage referral pipelines, track patient follow- through from camp to surgery, and measure surgical outcomes. 4. Reporting & Compliance Maintain accurate records of all activities for CSR reporting compliance, donor communication, and internal review. Prepare periodic impact reports for leadership and stakeholders.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 3–6 years of experience in NGO program management, CSR implementation, or public health project execution. • Comfortable spending significant time in the field — building trust with village leaders and navigating government systems with patience and persistence. • Prior work in South Gujarat or familiarity with tribal communities in the Surat region is a strong advantage. • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Experience coordinating medical camps or working with government health schemes (NPCB, Ayushman Bharat) is a significant plus. • Fluency in Gujarati is required. Proficiency in Hindi and English is preferred. EDUCATION A degree in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with strong equivalent field experience will be equally considered.
