JOB DESCRIPTION: At Oolio,

Senior QA Engineers

are quality owners and hands-on problem solvers who ensure our SaaS platforms meet high standards of reliability, performance, and stability.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to validate features, identify risks early, and strengthen quality practices across your assigned modules or POD. While remaining deeply hands-on in both manual and automation testing, you will also contribute to improving test coverage, processes, and release confidence.

This role is ideal for someone with strong execution depth, growing leadership maturity, and the ability to independently own quality for complex feature areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Own quality validation for assigned modules or features within a POD. Develop strong product understanding across workflows, especially within SaaS and POS environments. Design, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API-based applications. Actively contribute to manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and release cycles. Identify risks prior to release and collaborate with developers and product managers to mitigate them. Increase automation coverage to improve release velocity and reduce regression cycles. Contribute to integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Ensure test cases, scenarios, and validation strategies are well-documented and maintained. Support release validation, defect triaging, root cause analysis, and production issue verification. Collaborate closely with QA Leads to align with broader quality strategy and standards. Guide and support junior QA engineers where required, promoting consistency in testing practices. Promote accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement within the team.

5 – 9 Years Education:

Preferred – B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E/MCA/M.S Technology Stack: Automation:

Playwright / Appium / Selenium / Cypress, API Automation – REST Assured / Postman Collections, BDD – Cucumber Manual & Exploratory Testing:

Test case design, scenario-based validation, UAT support, regression planning, release sign-off ownership API Testing:

Postman / Swagger / Contract Testing Performance Testing:

JMeter / k6 Mobile Testing:

iOS & Android validation (real devices + emulators) CI/CD Integration:

Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI Database Validation:

SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) Cloud & Infra Awareness:

AWS environments, Docker, Kubernetes exposure Web Fundamentals (Good to Have):

HTML, CSS, JavaScript understanding

OTHER REQUIREMENT: Quality & Execution Focus: Ensure thorough functional and regression coverage for assigned modules. Actively participate in exploratory testing, integration testing, performance validation, and release sign-off support. Contribute to improving test processes, automation stability, and defect prevention practices. Metrics & Reporting: Track and communicate test execution status, defect trends, and release readiness within your scope. Provide structured insights to QA Leads and stakeholders during sprint and release cycles. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and DevOps to ensure quality across the SDLC. Communicate defects, risks, and technical findings clearly and constructively. Professional Attributes: Strong ownership mindset for assigned features and modules.
