toys and educational products sector , with established brands and nationwide distribution. As we scale operations, we are strengthening our finance function to ensure strong financial discipline, compliance, and business visibility.

Role Overview We are looking for a

hands-on Senior Accountant

who can take ownership of the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role is not limited to data entry or bookkeeping. The person will be responsible for

maintaining clean books, ensuring statutory compliance, managing working capital visibility, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting. The role will work closely with management and a Fractional CFO

to ensure strong financial systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Closing

Maintain accurate books of accounts in the accounting system (Zoho Books preferred) Oversee all accounting entries including purchases, expenses, payments, and receipts Perform

monthly financial closing and ledger scrutiny Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules

Compliance & Taxation

Manage

GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance Handle TDS calculations and filings Coordinate with tax consultants for Income Tax matters Ensure all statutory filings are completed on time

Receivables & Payables Management

Monitor

accounts receivable ageing and collections Manage vendor reconciliations and payment schedules Maintain discipline around customer credit limits and outstanding balances

Banking & Reconciliations

Perform bank reconciliations regularly Manage payment processing and documentation Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions

Audit & Documentation

Prepare audit schedules and documentation Coordinate with statutory auditors and consultants Maintain proper accounting records and documentation

MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare

monthly MIS reports for management Track expenses and identify unusual variances Support financial analysis requested by management or CFO

What We Are Looking For We are specifically looking for someone who: ✔ Has

strong GST and statutory compliance experience ✔ Has handled month-end financial closing independently ✔ Is comfortable reviewing ledgers and identifying accounting errors ✔ Has experience working in manufacturing or product companies ✔ Is organised, detail-oriented, and disciplined with documentation This role requires someone who can take ownership of the accounting function and maintain high financial discipline.

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA / Inter CMA 6–10 years of relevant accounting experience Manufacturing industry experience preferred Experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting systems
