Job Summary

: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating design concepts into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings. The Technical Designer will collaborate with the design team to ensure that the vision is accurately represented in the final plans. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural techniques, knowledge of building codes, and proficiency in relevant software tools.

Responsibilities: Create detailed and precise interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details. Collaborate with the design team to understand and incorporate design concepts into technical drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Assist in space planning and layout design to optimize functionality and aesthetics. Work closely with the design team to develop spatial solutions that align with client requirements and project goals. Collaborate with the design team to select appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures based on technical considerations and design intent. Take ownership of design intent from concept through design development, ensuring technical outputs support the creative vision and align with project goals.” Provide technical documentation for selected materials and finishes. Utilize 3D modelling software to create visual representations of interior spaces and design concepts. Collaborate with the design team to ensure that 3D models accurately reflect design intent. Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of interior design plans. Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the technical and construction phases. Prepare comprehensive documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and schedules, for use by contractors and other project team members. Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and technological advancements in interior design and drafting.

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a focus on technical experience Proficiency in Brisk CAD, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and other relevant drafting software. Strong understanding of building codes and regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
