Role Overview

Associate Wealth Manager - Fixed Income, the role is focused on acquiring new clients in Mumbai, closing investment business, and ensuring a smooth onboarding handoff to operations/advisory teams. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in financial sales/wealth/investments with a strong local client network and end-to-end sales capability from prospecting to closure.

Key responsibilities

1. New client acquisition: Identify, reach out to, and convert prospective clients through calls, meetings, referrals, and networking in and around Mumbai. 2. Sales closure: Own the end-to-end sales cycle—understand needs, present solutions, handle objections, negotiate, and close. 3. Onboarding support: Coordinate documentation and onboarding steps with internal teams to ensure a seamless account opening/activation experience. 4. Pipeline management: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, track progress, and update CRM/trackers with accurate activity and conversion metrics. 5. Market & product awareness: Stay updated on market trends and investment product positioning to communicate clearly and responsibly with clients.

Experience & qualifications

1. Minimum 1 years of experience in the finance sector with prior exposure to wealth management/investments (e.g., mutual funds, PMS/AIF, bonds/fixed income, insurance, broking, or investment platforms). 2. Strong client network in and around Mumbai with demonstrated ability to generate meetings and referrals. 3. Proven track record managing the full sales process from lead generation to closing. 4. Strong communication, relationship-building, and basic analytical skills (presenting options, explaining risk/return at a high level, etc.).
