Role Overview
We are hiring International Sales – Admission Counsellors to drive B2C/B2B global enrollments across APAC, EMEA, and US markets.
The role involves end-to-end sales ownership — from lead engagement to closing and post-sales relationship management — while achieving weekly enrollment, revenue, and collection targets.
Key Responsibilities
Mentor and guide prospective learners in their career journeys
Provide personalized counselling aligned with career goals
Meet weekly enrollment, revenue, and collection targets
Handle complete sales lifecycle:
Outbound/Inbound calling
Product demonstration
Objection handling
Closing
Post-sales follow-up
Maintain detailed CRM records and sales updates
Articulate the value proposition of upGrad’s online learning model
Build rapport with international students across diverse geographies
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong international sales exposure (B2C/B2B)
Understanding of global cultural nuances and buying behavior
Target-driven and revenue-focused mindset
Strong objection-handling and closing ability
CRM proficiency and funnel management discipline
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Customer-centric and relationship-driven approach
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree (Business/Marketing/Education preferred)
2–5 years of experience in International Sales (EdTech preferred)
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
Strong work ethics and proactive attitude
Shift Timings (Rotational)
APAC: 7 AM – 4 PM / 9 AM – 6 PM
EMEA: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM / 2 PM – 11 PM
US Region: 8 PM – 5 AM / 10 PM – 7 AM
