Roundglass Foundation is pursuing a bold vision to bring abundance and prosperity back to the state of Punjab in India through philanthropic initiatives supporting under-served rural and urban communities. Since our founding in 2018, we have been engaged in a wide range of far-reaching projects, directly involving village communities in building opportunity and sustainable development in the region. Our Model Village initiatives have impacted the lives of almost 19,00,000 people in over 1800 villages across the state through our programmes clubbed under the thematic areas: Environment & Sustainability, Adult and female Empowerment.
On the Learn Punjab front, RG Foundation has already activated 160 Learn Labs which work with almost 4000 children across the villages of Punjab.
About the role:
As Senior Lead, Partnerships, you will be a key member of the India leadership team, working directly under the Leader of Fundraising & Partnerships. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, and will require you to own and execute all core responsibilities typically handled by the Leader.
You will build and lead a robust partnership ecosystem — developing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, nurturing relationships with donors and partners, and positioning RGF as a global leader in community-driven development.
What you’ll do:
Strategy & Planning
- Design and execute a comprehensive partnerships and fundraising strategy aligned with RGF’s mission, focusing on diversified sources including government, foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align partnership efforts with RGF’s overall
strategic priorities.
Fundraising & Business Development
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with high-value partners, funders, and donors.
- Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals, funding applications, and impact reports, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and timelines.
- Track fundraising performance metrics, analyze trends, and adapt strategies to optimize outcomes and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide a small, high-performing team of fundraising and partnerships professionals to meet collective goals.
- Foster a collaborative, high-accountability culture with a focus on results and learning.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Represent RGF at India and international events, conferences, and forums to advocate for its mission and showcase its impact.
- Engage RGF’s internal stakeholders (staff, board, volunteers) to build a culture of
philanthropy and collective ownership of fundraising goals.
Governance & Compliance
- Manage the partnerships and fundraising budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial accountability standards.
- Stay abreast of global fundraising trends, regulations, and best practices to keep RGF’s
strategies innovative and compliant.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strategic Fundraising Expertise: Proven success in developing and executing large-scale fundraising strategies across diverse revenue streams.
- Stakeholder& Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with donors, government agencies, and corporate partners.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional writing and presentation skills for persuasive proposals, pitches, and reports.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.
- Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and inspiring performance through coaching and mentorship.
- Public Representation: Comfortable representing the organization in high-stakes public forums and advocating for its mission.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, International Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–10 years of experience in partnerships/fundraising, preferably in international development, with a strong track record of securing significant multi-source funding.
- Familiarity with international fundraising regulations, compliance, and donor reporting.
- Proficiency in donor management software and the Microsoft OfficeSuite.
