Role Overview
We are looking for a high-agency HR & Talent Acquisition Manager to own the people function at Stupa Sports Analytics. In our fast-paced growth phase, your primary mandate will be driving high-quality talent acquisition. Beyond recruitment, you will act as the custodian of our company culture, managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, streamlining HR operations, and ensuring a world-class employee experience.
The ideal candidate is a strategic executor who takes pride in both speed-to-hire and building scalable HR processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
:
1. Talent Acquisition
Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical (Engineering, AI/Data, Product) and non-technical roles across the organisation
Partner closely with department heads to define hiring needs, draft sharp job descriptions, and map the talent market
Source candidates through ATS platforms, LinkedIn, job portals, and referral networks
Deliver a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach to offer rollout and handle compensation negotiations and benchmarking
Maintain and optimise the ATS to ensure clean pipeline tracking and reporting
Build and maintain a warm talent pipeline for recurring and future hiring needs
2. Onboarding & Induction
Design and run a structured onboarding process that gives new hires clarity from Day 1
Run induction programmes that introduce company culture, processes, and team norms
Drive internal initiatives, town halls, and engagement programs to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture and monitor employee pulse
3. HR Operations, Compliance & Exits
Oversee the core HR management system for accurate tracking of attendance, leaves, and employee data
Coordinate with the finance team to provide accurate monthly payroll inputs and support adherence to Indian labour laws and statutory compliances (EPF, PT, etc.)
Draft, update, and communicate internal HR policies, ensuring they scale with the company's growth
Manage structured exit processes, including full-and-final settlement coordination and exit interviews to gather feedback
4. Performance & Talent Management
Facilitate performance management cycles, supporting managers with goal-setting and review structures
Help identify training needs and support upskilling initiatives for employees
5. Employee Engagement
Drive initiatives to foster a positive, high-performance culture
Organise team engagement activities, R&R programmes, and feedback mechanisms
Act as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns and culture-building
Ideal Profile:
2-5 years in a core HR role with significant hands-on recruitment responsibility
Proven ability to hire for technical profiles (engineering, product, data, etc.) - understanding of tech stacks and role requirements is a strong plus
Working knowledge of at least one ATS platform (Zoho Recruit, Darwinbox or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of drafting polished JDs, offer letters, and policy documents independently
Comfortable handling offer negotiations with tact and market awareness
Strong coordination skills and ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously
High ownership mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and eager to build processes where none currently exist
