Role: Lead ML Engineer Location:

Bangalore (Hybrid)

As a Lead ML Engineer, you will be serving as a senior individual contributor on critical projects. You will drive technical excellence, define best practices, and ensure successful delivery of ML initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role requires both strong technical depth and the ability to influence and guide others.

What you will do Lead the design and architecture of complex ML systems and ensure technical quality across projects Mentor and develop ML engineers, providing guidance on technical growth and career development Drive technical roadmap planning and prioritization for ML initiatives within your team Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into ML solutions Establish and enforce coding standards, review processes, and engineering best practices Lead cross-functional collaboration with data engineering, platform, and product teams Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for ML projects Contribute to hiring efforts including interviewing candidates and improving hiring processes

Who you are Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field; PhD is a plus 6-8 years of experience in ML engineering with demonstrated technical leadership Track record of successfully delivering complex ML projects from conception to production Expert-level proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and production ML systems Strong experience with ML system design, architecture patterns, and scalability considerations Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions in a team setting Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG systems, and AI agents

Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a technical lead Experience building and scaling ML platforms or infrastructure Strong background in MLOps and model lifecycle management Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices
