Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Database Migration Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for managing data migration processes (IBM DB2 to Postgres - Aurora), handling migration projects, ensuring data integrity, and resolving technical challenges during migrations. The individual will also troubleshoot database issues, collaborate with teams to develop effective migration strategies, and optimize performance during and after the migration process.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Data Migration and Migration Projects Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively Experience and knowledge in working with various Databases Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment Understanding of platforms such as AWS (DMS), IBM is a must Strong communication and collaboration abilities Relevant certifications or a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is an advantage
