The Qualifications We Seek

Required Technical Skills Mandatory Experience (3+ years minimum) Deep hands-on experience with Omnissa Horizon 8 (formerly VMware Horizon) Strong expertise in vSphere / ESXi Strong expertise in vCenter Experience with UAG deployment and hardening App Volumes DEM Instant Clone technology Active Directory integration GPO optimization for VDI PowerShell scripting for automation Troubleshooting production VDI environments Strongly Preferred NVIDIA vGPU experience Azure Virtual Desktop knowledge Hybrid cloud integration Enterprise storage systems (SAN / vSAN) Networking fundamentals including VLAN, firewall rules, and load balancers Experience working within MSP or multi-tenant environments Soft Skills Required Strong troubleshooting mindset Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Clear technical communication skills Comfortable working in structured ITIL-based environments Ability to document thoroughly and clearly Professional client-facing communication when required Deliverables Expected Successfully deployed Horizon 8 production environments Stable and optimized VDI environments Reduced login times and performance issues Fully documented architecture and runbooks Clear root cause analysis documentation when incidents occur Engagement Model Offshore (remote) Overlapping working hours with Eastern Time (Canada) Available for critical production escalations Participation in structured project milestones

Your Daily Tasks

Architecture & Design Design and document Omnissa Horizon 8 architectures (POC, pilot, and production) Define scalable and secure VDI solutions aligned with enterprise requirements Create infrastructure sizing, GPU allocation, storage planning, and HA/DR strategies Align Horizon deployments with client security and compliance requirements Deployment & Implementation Deploy and configure Omnissa Horizon Connection Servers Deploy and configure Unified Access Gateway (UAG) Deploy and configure App Volumes Deploy and configure Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) Deploy Instant Clones and Linked Clones Infrastructure Integration Integrate environments with Active Directory Integrate with vSphere / ESXi Integrate with vCenter Integrate with Azure or hybrid cloud environments when required Configure GPU environments including NVIDIA / vGPU Implement secure external access architecture Optimization & Performance Troubleshoot session performance, GPU allocation, and storage bottlenecks Optimize image management and golden image lifecycle Improve login times and user experience Monitor and tune Horizon environment performance Security & Governance Apply best practices for MFA integration Apply Zero Trust alignment strategies Configure RBAC access controls Implement secure access segmentation Assist with patching and vulnerability management for Horizon components Documentation & Collaboration Produce detailed technical documentation including HLD, LLD, and runbooks Collaborate with infrastructure teams Collaborate with security teams Collaborate with client stakeholders Support pre-sales technical discussions when required
