AI/Backend Engineer

Company Profile: Go InstaCare (goinstacare.com) is a hi-tech platform that helps Families to find Care Providers, INSTANTLY! The company focuses on Non-Medical Home Care space in the US.

We're looking for an AI/Backend Engineer to own and evolve our platform, and AI agents. You'll work to ship features fast and shape the technical direction of the product.

What You'll Do:

Design and build AI agents using LLMs for real-time voice interviews Develop and maintain our FastAPI backend services Integrate with external APIs Optimize prompt engineering and agent architectures for natural conversations Build reliable, scalable infrastructure on AWS Implement real-time communication features using LiveKit Design database schemas and optimize query performance

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of backend development experience Strong Python skills (FastAPI, async/await, Pydantic) Experience with LLMs and AI agent development (LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic) Familiarity with real-time systems (WebSockets, WebRTC, or similar) PostgreSQL or similar relational database experience AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3) Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality

Nice to Have:

Experience with LiveKit or similar real-time voice/video platforms Background in recruiting technology or HR tech Experience with speech-to-text/text-to-speech APIs (Deepgram, ElevenLabs, Cartesia) Stripe integration experience
