E-waste

Procurement Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing suppliers and generators of electronic waste to ensure a consistent, profitable and compliant flow of material to the company’s facilities

Key Responsibilities Identify and onboard new e-waste suppliers, including kabadi network, aggregators, corporate IT departments, manufacturers, refurbishes and recyclers in target regions Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to secure steady volumes of mixed e-waste (PCBs, IT assets, batteries, consumer electronics, metals and plastics) at targeted margins Regularly visit markets, industrial areas and scrap hubs to map supply pockets, understand competition and discover new sourcing opportunities Coordinate material pickup logistics with the operations/transport team to optimize load factor, routing and turnaround time Work closely with the plant/processing team to align on quality specs, rejection criteria and feedback on supplier performance Maintain a supplier database, visit reports, deal pipeline and monthly sourcing MIS for management review Support development of new sourcing channels such as take-back programs, collection drives and OEM partnerships as required

Candidate profile Graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with background in supply chain, commerce, environment, or engineering.​ 2–6 years of experience in scrap sourcing, e-waste procurement, metal trading, B2B field sales or dealer development; relevant network in scrap / electronics markets is a strong plus.​ Strong negotiation and closing skills with hands-on experience in local market dealing.​ Good understanding (or willingness to learn) of different e-waste categories, component values and basic recovery economics.​ Comfortable with extensive field travel, vendor visits and working in unstructured market environments.​ Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp/CRM tools for tracking leads, prices and volumes.​ Strong communication skills in local language(s) and Hindi; English proficiency preferred for corporate accounts.​
