Job Title: Finance Accounting Manager
Department: Finance
Reports To: Financial Controller
Location: Benguluru, Hybrid

Job Purpose
The Financial Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements, and supporting the organisation’s financial reporting processes. This role plays a key part in delivering timely, reliable financial information to support decision-making and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP, FRS 102).
- Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Assist with group consolidation where applicable.
Month-End and Year-End Close
- Lead or support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure deadlines are met and financial data integrity is maintained.
Statutory Compliance and Audit
- Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory returns.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
General Ledger Management
- Maintain and monitor the general ledger.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Review and improve accounting processes and procedures.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Support finance transformation initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a financial accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, UK GAAP, or relevant framework).
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits.
- Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with NetSuite ERP systems.
- Experience in multi-entity or group environments.
