Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Reservations is responsible for managing the reservations team and ensuring efficient handling of room bookings, guest queries, and inventory management. The role focuses on maximizing occupancy and revenue while delivering high-quality guest service aligned with Sarovar Hotels’ standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle and oversee all incoming reservation requests via phone, email, OTA platforms, and corporate channels.
Maintain up-to-date room inventory, rate parity, and availability across all online and offline systems.
Work closely with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue teams to optimize occupancy and forecast demand.
Ensure accurate reservation entries, billing details, and guest preferences in the PMS.
Monitor OTA performance, manage extranets, and assist with rate uploads or promotions.
Train and guide reservation associates to maintain service excellence.
Ensure guest queries, modifications, and special requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation/revenue reports as required.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge about rooms, facilities, packages, and promotions.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
2–4 years of experience in Reservations or Front Office; experience with hotel CRS/PMS (IDS) is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Knowledge of OTA platforms, rate management, and reservation processes.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
