About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Security Analyst
to join our technology and cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate is passionate about protecting systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and strengthening organizational security posture across enterprise environments.
This role involves monitoring security events, analyzing threats, supporting incident response activities, and collaborating with IT and engineering teams to implement preventive and corrective security controls.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor security alerts, logs, and SIEM tools to detect potential threats
• Investigate and analyze security incidents, anomalies, and vulnerabilities
• Assist in incident response, containment, and remediation activities
• Conduct risk assessments and support vulnerability management processes
• Perform security reviews of systems, applications, and infrastructure
• Support implementation of security controls, policies, and best practices
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to enhance system security
• Assist in security audits, compliance documentation, and reporting
• Maintain documentation of security incidents and response procedures
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and trends
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (network security, endpoint security, access controls, encryption)
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools and SIEM platforms
• Basic knowledge of risk management and vulnerability assessment
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to document findings clearly and communicate technical issues effectively
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, or similar
• Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
• Exposure to penetration testing or threat intelligence
• Security certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP Associate, or similar)
