Key Responsibilities
Book close and compliance
Responsible for monthly book closure activities along with financial schedules
Ownership of Financial statements including PL, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
Drive Statutory Audit of standalone financials under IFRS and local GAAP (US and Europe countries)
Proficient in cross-border compliances (US and Europe countries GAAP)
Inventory valuation and analysis
Tracking actual cost v/s Budget for support functions
Participate in compliance with Companies Act 2013 requirements like CSR, Related party, CARO
Liaise with third party accounting, tax service providers and other consultants on local regulatory/accounting/audit compliances
Consolidation of books of accounts in BPC module of SAP
Strong knowledge of IndAS and IFRS
Operations and accounting
Review of month end accruals, intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, Income statement trend analysis;
Proactively, identify and initiate initiatives which can drive changes, optimizes processes
Financial reporting and analysis to various stakeholders to support decision making
Lead special finance projects, manage the centralized financed system with an ambition to further automate processes
Work with onshore and offshore finance team reporting within Biocon Biologics group, to monitor all transactions and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operations
Education, Experience and Skill
Qualification – Chartered Accountant
Experience 8-10 years with experience of handling a team size of 2-4
Hands on experience with SAP will be an added advantage
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral) and Networking skills
Flexibility & open mind to look at dynamic and ever-changing business environment and needs
Time management & ability to prioritize work / Multitasking
