GRC Automation Engineering Lead

About the Role

Internset is looking for a GRC Automation Engineering Lead to build the technical foundation for how we scale risk management and compliance across our infrastructure.

This role focuses on designing systems that automate governance and compliance workflows, integrate data from multiple systems, and provide continuous monitoring of risk and compliance posture.

You will lead the development of automation frameworks, integrations, and data pipelines that connect cloud infrastructure, identity systems, HR platforms, and internal tools into a unified compliance architecture.

Responsibilities

Compliance Automation Architecture

• Design and implement automated workflows for risk management and compliance monitoring. • Build systems that transform manual compliance activities into scalable automated processes. • Establish technical architecture for governance and compliance automation.

Data Integration & Monitoring

• Build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and infrastructure data from multiple systems. • Normalize and structure compliance-related data to create unified views of organizational risk posture. • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that enable continuous compliance monitoring. Policy & Control Automation • Translate written policies and compliance requirements into automated rules and policy-as-code frameworks. • Implement systems that automatically validate controls and detect compliance gaps. • Establish feedback loops between policy definitions and technical implementations.

Platform Integrations

• Design integrations between compliance systems and cloud infrastructure, identity management, HR systems, ticketing platforms, and development tools. • Implement workflows that automate evidence collection for audits and compliance programs.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead the GRC automation function as the organization scales. • Define the technical roadmap for governance and compliance automation. • Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure compliance systems integrate seamlessly with the broader infrastructure.
