Role Overview
We’re looking for a high-performance AVP – Finance to take complete ownership of the financial function. This leadership role covers finance strategy, cashflow management, investor relations, reporting, taxation, fundraising, and compliance — along with active involvement in financial structuring, forecasting, and operational finance.
The ideal candidate has navigated at least one venture fundraising journey, has deep knowledge of real estate or hospitality finance, and thrives in a fast-growth, founder-driven startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Finance
Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and structuring to ensure smooth operations.
Drive budgeting, strategic planning, and KPI frameworks. Support expansion projects, pricing models, and capex planning.
Accounting, Audit & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate closure of books (Ind-AS / Indian GAAP).
Lead statutory, tax, and internal audits.
Oversee ROC, RBI, FEMA, TDS, GST, and ESOP compliance.
Fundraising & Investor Relations.
Own investor documents, financial models, decks, and data rooms.
Manage due diligence and support negotiations and closures.
Maintain investor updates, board reporting, and cap table.
Banking & Treasury
Build proactive relationships with banks and lenders.
Lead debt structuring, working capital facilities, and vendor financing.
Manage treasury operations and ensure liquidity.
Vendor & Cost Management
Govern vendor contracts, negotiate fees, and manage payouts.
Implement cost control systems and real-time tracking processes.
Maintain discipline across accounts payable and procurement cycles.
Candidate Profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance roles.
Strong background in VC fundraising, due diligence, and modelling.
Experience in hospitality, real estate, or venture-backed start-ups
Hands-on with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and financial software like Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks.
High ownership, strategic mindset, and ability to thrive in founder-led environments.
