We are having an opening for Lead Engineer - Planning for a leading multidisciplinary EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company at Mundra Gujarat Location.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Location: Mundra, Gujarat
Experience: 10+ years of experience
Working day – Monday to Saturday ( with transportation, fooding and accommodation)
Job Description:
Develop comprehensive project schedules based on project requirements, scope, and Deliverables.
Utilize scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to create detailed plans, including task sequencing, resource allocation, resource levelling and duration estimates.
Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, procurement personnel, and subcontractors to integrate their activities into the master project schedule.
Going through Tender & Contract Document and prepare Executive summary of Contract containing major points covering GCC/SCC/SOR etc.
Maintain drawing register, rain register, hindrance register and delay analysis statement to capture the variances of time schedule with respect to base line schedule.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to finalise and allocate resources effectively, including materials, manpower, equipment, consumables and subcontractors.
Optimize resource utilization to maximize productivity and minimize project costs.
Monitor resource availability and requirements throughout the project lifecycle, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet project objectives keeping the ROI / Profit percentage / bottom line unaltered.
Identify potential risks and threats in advance which may impact project schedules and deliverables.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risk.
Monitor project progress against established schedules, identifying deviations and variances.
Generate progress reports (daily / weekly / monthly progress reports and other MIS documents for internal and external customers) and performance metrics to track project milestones, critical path activities, and key performance indicators.
Time to time prepare of cash flow statement and Job Cost report to analysis the project health.
Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10 to 18 years of experience in Oil & Gas Sector.
Proven experience in project planning and scheduling in Oil & Gas Sector.
Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality.
