Role Summary

Backend Developer Intern

Curvvtech . In this role, you will work closely with our development team to build, optimize, and scale backend systems for real-world applications across web and mobile platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in production-level development, APIs, and system architecture. Success in this role means writing clean, efficient code, understanding backend workflows, and contributing to live projects that impact clients and products. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the solutions we deliver.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs Write clean, scalable, and efficient server-side code Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers Integrate third-party APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, OTP services) Debug, test, and optimize backend performance Work with databases to design, query, and manage data efficiently Document APIs, workflows, and technical processes Learn and follow best practices in backend development and security

Qualifications: Skills

Basic understanding of backend development (Node.js preferred) Familiarity with REST APIs and client-server architecture Knowledge of databases (MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) Understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Experience

Prior internship/project experience is a plus Experience with Git and version control is preferred Exposure to frameworks like Express.js is a bonus

Certifications (Optional)

Any relevant certifications in backend development or web technologies are a plus

Compensation & Duration

Stipend:

₹10,000 per month Duration:

6 months Pre-Placement Offer (PPO):

Opportunity for a full-time role after 6 months based on performance
