QA / Test Engineer – API & Automation (CRM / Telephony / AI)

Job Description We are looking to hire a

QA / Test Engineer

to support a

CRM and Call Centre Telephony platform

built on

API-driven services

using

Python, Java, and .NET . The role requires strong

manual and automation testing skills , with a primary focus on

API testing . The tester will work in an

Agile, sprint-based environment , ensuring testing runs in parallel with development. All test activities will be managed using

Quality in Jira .

Key Responsibilities Design and execute

manual and automated API test cases Test REST APIs built on

Python, Java, and .NET platforms Perform

System Integration Testing (SIT)

across multiple services Execute

smoke and regression testing Test

CRM and telephony workflows

(call flows, agent states, routing) Validate

AI transcription APIs

and outputs Log, track, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps Maintain test cases and execution results in

Quality in Jira Support

UAT and Go-Live test sign-off

Required Skills & Experience 3–5 years of experience in

software testing Strong hands-on experience in

API testing (manual + automation) Solid understanding of

REST APIs , JSON, HTTP methods, and status codes Experience testing backend systems built on

Python, Java, or .NET Experience with

API automation

and regression testing Experience working in

Agile / Scrum teams Familiarity with

Jira and test management tools Strong defect analysis and communication skills Good to Have CRM or Call Centre domain experience Knowledge of

telephony concepts

(call flows, agent states, queues) Exposure to

Asterisk / SIP / VoIP Experience testing

AI or transcription APIs Basic load or performance testing exposure  Work Mode Onsite – 5 days per week (Bengaluru) Note This role requires a

hands-on tester with strong API expertise . Manual-only or UI-only profiles are not suitable.
