Hiring: Ontology Data Architect (Palantir Foundry) Location : Remote, IN Duration : 12 Months contract

We’re looking for an experienced

Data Architect

to lead the design and evolution of enterprise ontologies on the

Palantir platform . This role sits at the intersection of

data modeling, business domain knowledge, and product delivery

— focused on real adoption and real business impact.

What You’ll Do Design and evolve business-driven ontologies that reflect real operational processes Work with product teams to align ontology elements with key user journeys Translate domain expertise into clear, maintainable semantic structures Collaborate with data engineers to map, enrich, and contextualize data into the ontology Define semantic patterns, guardrails, and best practices for reuse across teams Enable faster product delivery by standardizing and operationalizing ontology assets

What We’re Looking For Strong experience in

data modeling / ontology design

in complex environments Hands-on experience with

Palantir Foundry

ontologies (or similar platforms) Ability to work closely with business and product teams — not just engineers Comfortable iterating fast and evolving models based on real usage Strong domain translation skills and ability to simplify complex concepts

Nice to Have Experience in industrial or asset-heavy domains Background in data engineering or analytics Familiarity with metadata, governance, and semantic catalog concepts
