Tech Lead - C++ | 3D Desktop Software (Windows)

RecruitxHr is hiring for leading BIM/CAD 3D design platform under the Planning & Designing division of a global AEC software group

Position: Tech Lead – C++ | 3D Desktop Software (Windows) About the organization: A 3D BIM‑based Architectural & Structural Design Platform Work mode: Hybrid Work Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Role requirements (Min.12-20 years of work exp.) We need a strong Team Lead who can technically guide developers to build a Windows‑based 3D Desktop Application using C++. The ideal candidate must come from Automotive / Heavy Machinery / Mechanical / Gaming or similar engineering‑intensive 3D modelling backgrounds—no embedded, no telecom, no Linux. They should bring expertise in 3D visualisation, modelling, analytical geometry, and preferably experience with AEC‑focused design tools.

Must have skills: Strong C++ developer with proven Team Lead / Tech Lead experience. Experience building Windows Desktop Applications (strictly no Linux). Background in 3D modelling, 3D visualisation, mathematical/analytical geometry. Industry alignment: Automotive, Heavy Machinery, Mechanical Engineering, Gaming

(no embedded / no telecom) . Ability to lead sprints, code reviews, quality processes, and collaborate with Product, QA, Design.

Good to have skills: Exposure to AEC / CAD / BIM domain (e.g., Autodesk, Bentley). Understanding of Python or WPF as secondary skills. Experience in geometry kernels, simulation, or engineering design tools. Familiarity with AI‑assisted development workflows. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving capabilities.
