QA Engineer - Mobile App (Android)

We’re looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for Biffle, our fast-growing social interaction platform enabling users and creators to connect via video calls, chat, and gifting. As our first QA hire, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our product is stable, intuitive, and delightful across user and creator experiences.

Key Responsibilities Define and execute test plans for new feature releases and app updates. Perform manual testing of core user journeys: (Login/Signup, Wallet top-up, Coin deduction, Chat, Video Call, Gifting, DM Access, Subscription purchase and benefit unlock) Validate UI/UX consistency across Android devices (low to high end). Identify, reproduce, and log detailed bugs with steps/screenshots/videos in JIRA. Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing before every release. Collaborate closely with product, design, frontend, and backend teams. Monitor Crashlytics, Firebase events, and post-release issues. Suggest usability improvements and proactively highlight broken flows. Must-Have Skills 0-2 years of manual testing experience, preferably in consumer-facing mobile apps. Strong understanding of Android testing – device coverage, platform behaviors. Comfortable with tools like JIRA, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Console. Experience writing and managing test cases, test plans, and bug reports. Detail-oriented mindset and passion for product quality. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
