We are seeking a highly skilled

Application Security Specialist

to join our team in Gurgaon. This is a

client-facing role where you will collaborate directly with key stakeholders and engineering teams to drive secure software development practices, assess application vulnerabilities, and strengthen risk posture across environments. You will be responsible for embedding security into design, development, and deployment processes while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

Lead and conduct

application security assessments

throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Perform

SAST (Static), DAST (Dynamic), and interactive application security testing

to identify and remediate vulnerabilities Execute

secure code reviews

and provide clear, actionable remediation guidance to development teams Facilitate

threat modeling sessions

and review security architecture with engineering and product teams Integrate

Security by Design

and secure coding best practices into client SDLC processes. Develop and maintain

application risk registers , report findings, and track mitigation. Act as a

primary security contact

for client engineering teams, offering guidance and support during implementation and remediation. Present security findings, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

6–8 years of hands-on experience

in application security, secure SDLC practices, or related cybersecurity roles. Demonstrated experience with

SAST, DAST, code reviews, threat modeling, and application risk assessment tools . Strong understanding of

OWASP Top 10 , secure coding standards, and modern application architectures including web and microservices. Experience collaborating with

development, DevOps, and architecture teams

to remediate security vulnerabilities. Excellent

communication and client engagement skills , with the ability to articulate security concepts clearly. Ability to work independently in a

client-facing environment

and manage competing priorities.

Candidates with at least one of the following or similar credentials will be given strong preference: CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) GWAPT, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certifications Influence security architecture and practices across client engagements. Work on large-scale digital platforms with complex security challenges. Support development teams in building secure, high-performance applications. Be a key player in enhancing overall security maturity for our clients.
