Junior Agronomist – Organic Inputs & Sales

About the Role:

The Junior Agronomist will work closely with farmers and field partners, providing technical guidance on organic inputs and crop management. This role involves regular travelling, on-farm assessments, product demonstrations, and supporting sales of the company’s organic agri-input portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct frequent field visits and spend maximum time on farms. 2. Provide agronomy support focused on organic farming practices and crop nutrition. 3. Assess crop health, identify problems, and recommend organic solutions. 4. Promote and explain company products (bio-inputs, biopesticides, biofertilizers, compost, soil amendments, etc.). 5. Build strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and distributors. 6. Conduct farmer meetings, field demos, trainings, and product trials. 7. Collect field data, record product performance, and prepare weekly MIS updates. 8. Support sales growth of organic inputs through field engagement and farmer support.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Graduates in Agriculture & relevant field

Skills:

1. Good understanding of organic farming, soil health, and bio-inputs. 2. Strong communication and farmer-interaction skills. 3. Basic sales, field marketing, and demo skills. 4. Ability to identify crop issues and provide suitable organic recommendations. 5. Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for reporting. 6. Languages: Hindi, English & Gujarati (Must). 7. Comfortable with extensive travelling and on-farm working conditions.
