Job Summary:
The Transformation & Digital Manager – Collections Operations will be responsible for leading
process transformation, automation, and digital adoption within the collections function of a
real estate company in Dubai. The role ensures that collections operations become more
efficient, transparent, and customer-centric, leveraging digital solutions while aligning with
government guidelines and the company’s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Collections Transformation
Develop and implement a digital roadmap to modernize collections processes
(payment reminders, settlement workflows, waivers, escalations).
Identify and automate repetitive tasks such as dunning notices, SMS/email reminders,
and payment link generation.
Re-engineer processes to reduce turnaround time (TAT) for dispute resolution,
payment allocation, and customer follow-ups.
Digital Enablement
Deploy customer self-service solutions such as online portals, apps, and automated
payment gateways.
Integrate AI/analytics for predicting delinquency risks, prioritizing accounts, and
recommending collection strategies.
Implement robotic process automation (RPA) for reconciliation, reporting, and
statement of accounts generation.
Drive adoption of digital communication tools (WhatsApp for Business, chatbots,
automated email workflows).
Data & Analytics
Build BI dashboards to track collections KPIs (aging buckets, DSO, recovery %, waiver
trends).
Use predictive analytics to identify at-risk customers and recommend proactive
engagement strategies.
Provide real-time visibility of collections performance to management.
Change & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer care to ensure end-to-end alignment in
collections processes.
Train the collections team on new digital platforms and tools.
Drive adoption of digital-first practices among both staff and customers.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Increase in digital payment adoption rate.
Reduction in overdue receivables and collection cycle time.
Percentage of automated vs manual collection activities.
Improvement in customer satisfaction with collections interactions.
Accuracy and timeliness of collection reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5–10 years of experience in collections, credit control, or receivables transformation.
Experience in CRM, ERP, collections systems, and digital payment platforms.
Exposure to RPA, AI, and data analytics in collections processes.
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management certification (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
Strong process improvement and automation mindset.
Excellent knowledge of collections KPIs and financial reporting.
Data-driven with expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive change. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
