BRM and OSS Database Administrator (DBA)

Hiring | BRM & OSS Database Administrator (DBA) Location:

Remote

We are looking for an experienced

BRM & OSS Database Administrator (DBA)

with strong hands-on expertise in managing critical databases across

BSS/OSS environments . The ideal candidate will have proven experience in

database upgrades, patching, and migration projects

with zero or near-zero impact on production systems.

Key Responsibilities Plan, test, and execute complex

database upgrades and patching

activities with minimal or zero service impact. Lead

end-to-end database migration projects

(on-prem to cloud, cross-platform), ensuring data integrity and system stability. Perform

pre-migration assessments , compatibility checks, and readiness validations. Conduct

post-migration validation and performance tuning

to meet operational requirements. Collaborate closely with

BRM, OSS, application, and operations teams

to align database changes with deployment timelines. Ensure adherence to

change management and release processes . Maintain detailed documentation including

migration plans, upgrade procedures, rollback strategies , and environment configurations.

Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience as

BRM DBA / OSS DBA

within

BSS/OSS environments . Strong expertise in

Oracle BRM

and telecom billing systems. Proven experience in

database upgrades, patching, and zero-downtime operations . Solid exposure to

database migration and cloud migration projects . Strong skills in

performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization . Ability to work in

cross-functional telecom environments .
