Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Purchase with 7–12 years of procurement experience in the elevator, engineering, or manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and leading the purchase function to ensure timely availability of materials for projects.

Key Responsibilities: · Lead end-to-end procurement of elevator components (mechanical & electrical) · Develop and manage vendor base; negotiate contracts and pricing · Strategic sourcing and cost reduction initiatives · Handle import and export activities including vendor coordination, shipment tracking, and customs duty processes. · Oversee preparation of Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery · Inventory planning and material forecasting · Handle import procurement & documentation (if applicable) · Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements · Prepare MIS reports and purchase analytics · Guide and supervise junior purchase team members

Required Skills: · Strong negotiation and leadership skills .

Handle import and export activities · Excellent vendor management & contract handling experience · Knowledge of elevator components / engineering materials · ERP & advanced MS Excel proficiency · Understanding of GST, commercial terms & import procedures

Qualification: Any Graduate / Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Electrical preferred
