Job Description Position Title: Category Manager – Large Installations (Decorative Lighting) Location: Noida (Full-Time, On-site) Reporting To: Business Head / Director – Projects Compensation: Up to ₹8 LPA (Fixed) + Performance-Linked Incentives About Sutra Luminis Sutra Luminis is a premium decorative lighting brand specializing in bespoke lighting solutions for luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and institutional projects across India. We execute large-scale custom lighting installations for hotels, banquet halls, commercial lobbies, façades, and landmark developments. We are seeking a Category Manager – Large Installations to manage and optimize high-value lighting installation projects with a strong focus on costing, execution alignment, and profitability. Role Summary The Category Manager – Large Installations will be responsible for end-to-end management of large-format and custom lighting projects. The role requires strong techno-commercial understanding, vendor coordination capability, and execution oversight to ensure timely delivery and margin protection. Key Responsibilities 1. Project & Category Ownership ● Lead large installation projects including custom chandeliers, lobby features, banquet lighting, façade lighting, and structural installations. ● Ensure project revenue and margin targets are met. ● Monitor projects from design approval to final execution and billing. 2. Technical & BOQ Evaluation ● Review architectural drawings and BOQs. ● Conduct detailed project costing and margin analysis. ● Work closely with design and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost control. 3. Vendor & Fabrication Management ● Identify and manage vendors for custom fabrication and structural elements. ● Negotiate pricing and ensure cost efficiency. ● Ensure quality compliance and timely material availability. 4. Installation & Site Coordination ● Coordinate with project managers and site teams during installation. ● Monitor execution quality and adherence to timelines. ● Address site-level challenges and ensure timely resolution. 5. Profitability & Cost Control ● Track project-wise profitability. ● Manage variation orders and scope changes effectively. ● Ensure milestone-based billing and payment follow-ups. 6. Cross-Functional Coordination ● Collaborate with Sales, Design, Production, and Operations teams. ● Provide technical-commercial inputs during client discussions for large projects. 7. Reporting & Monitoring ● Maintain structured dashboards for project status, revenue, margins, and risks. ● Provide periodic updates to senior management. Candidate Profile ● Graduate (Engineering / Technical / Commerce background preferred). ● 5–8 years of experience in large lighting installations, custom fabrication, or project-based environments. ● Strong experience in BOQ handling and project costing. ● Exposure to hospitality, commercial, or institutional installations preferred. ● Strong coordination, vendor management, and negotiation skills. ● Willing to travel for site supervision across India.
