SAS Programmer

About Position:

We are hiring a SAS Programmer with strong expertise in SAS programming and analytics. The role involves developing, analyzing, and optimizing SAS code, supporting UAT, and collaborating with technical teams and business users to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You'll Do:

Develop and maintain SAS programs using Base SAS, SAS Macros, and reporting tools. Analyze existing SAS code, jobs, and end-to-end solutions for optimization and troubleshooting. Work with SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS EG) for process flows, code execution, and data analysis. Utilize SAS Viya for cloud-native analytics, data processing, and AI/ML capabilities. Support ETL processes and ensure alignment with Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures. Contribute to SAS-to-cloud migration projects (Snowflake/Databricks) — strong advantage. Collaborate with business users and technical teams for solution design and delivery. Plan, track, and deliver technical tasks independently with flexibility for overlapping hours with onsite teams. Provide domain-specific insights in Healthcare or Finance projects.

Expertise You'll Bring:

Strong proficiency in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS Macros, Reporting). Hands-on experience with SAS EG and SAS Viya. Solid understanding of ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes. Experience in SAS-to-cloud migration (Snowflake/Databricks preferred). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to design solutions and work independently. Healthcare or Finance domain knowledge is a plus. 5+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
