Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced

Senior Software Test Engineer

to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects. Your expertise in testing practices and tools will contribute to delivering high-quality software while continuously improving testing processes.

Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of test strategies, plans, and test cases for software projects. Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze test results, and log/report defects effectively. Stay updated on and contribute to the adoption of industry best practices in software testing. Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is integrated into the software development lifecycle. Identify opportunities for automation and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Cypress. Participate in defect triage and collaborate with teams to resolve issues. Assist in post-release testing to ensure product quality. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years

of experience as a Test Engineer, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Strong experience in

test strategy development

. 3+ years of hands-on experience in

test automation Hands-on experience with

Cypress / Selenium

for end-to-end web application test automation. Strong knowledge of

JavaScript or TypeScript

. Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and create automation scripts from scratch. Proficiency with issue tracking tools (e.G.,

JIRA

). Familiarity with version control tools like Git for source code management. Strong

debugging

and

analytical skills

, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Solid understanding of database concepts

and experience working with databases (e.G.,

SQL

). Experience integrating automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines (e.G., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) is a plus. Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based environments. Solid understanding of test automation principles, frameworks, and tools, specifically in web application testing.
