About the Role

The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle database systems, ensuring their performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software. Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures. Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and recovery procedures. Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries. Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Oracle Database Administrator certification is a plus.

Required Skills

Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and tools. Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming. Familiarity with database security and backup/recovery procedures.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud database solutions. Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques. Familiarity with other database management systems.
