SAP ABAP/4 FICO Solution Architect

Role Description This is a remote contract position for a SAP ABAP/4 FICO Solution Architect. The role involves designing and delivering SAP solutions, providing expert consulting to align with business objectives, and ensuring effective system integration. The professional will assess and optimize business processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications Experience with Solution Architecture and the ability to design and implement SAP ABAP/4 FICO solutions. Strong expertise in Consulting to align technology solutions with business strategies and requirements. Proficiency in Software Development with a focus on SAP-related tools and technologies. Proven abilities in Integration of SAP FICO with other business modules and third-party applications. In-depth knowledge of Business Process optimization and improvement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications in SAP FICO or ABAP are a plus. Experience in similar SAP roles or with ERP systems in various industries is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead solution architecture design for

SAP FICO (FI & CO)

including

Asset Accounting (FI-AA) . Provide technical leadership in

ABAP/4 development , enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms. Drive end-to-end SAP rollout implementations including blueprinting, configuration, development, testing, and go-live. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Ensure seamless integration between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PM, etc.). Oversee data migration, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT). Define technical standards, code quality guidelines, and architecture best practices. Provide post-go-live support and continuous system improvements.

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of SAP experience with strong exposure to

FICO and ABAP/4 . Proven expertise in

Core FICO (GL, AP, AR, Bank, CO)

and

Asset Accounting (FI-AA) . Hands-on experience in SAP rollout projects (multi-country or global preferred). Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture. Experience in RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms). Excellent stakeholder communication and solution design skills.
