Position Overview
The General Manager – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening market presence, and overseeing strategic sales and marketing initiatives. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong B2B sales experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to develop long-term client relationships while ensuring operational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Management
Develop, implement, and manage strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
Lead business development efforts across corporate, industrial, and institutional sectors.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and conversion.
Oversee key account management and ensure consistent engagement with enterprise clients.
Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with procurement teams, HR departments, admin heads, and senior decision-makers.
Conduct high-level negotiations and manage complex sales cycles with professionalism and clarity.
Ensure superior client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships
Marketing & Brand Development
Oversee marketing initiatives to strengthen Uniwear’s brand positioning and market visibility.
Guide development of marketing collateral, catalogues, and digital communication.
Represent the organisation at exhibitions, trade events, and client presentations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with production, design, procurement, and operations teams to ensure efficient order execution.
Provide accurate sales forecasts to support planning, inventory management, and timely delivery.
Monitor the complete order lifecycle and resolve operational issues proactively.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales.
Experience in apparel, textile, or uniform B2B sales will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and driving performance outcomes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM tools, and pipeline management.
Ability to thrive in a 6-day on-site work environment.
