Role & responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and connect with potential students or parents through cold calls.
Consultative Selling: Engage with leads to understand their learning goals, challenges, and aspirations; recommend appropriate courses or programs.
Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct virtual or in-person counseling sessions to showcase the value of the companys offerings.
Pipeline Management: Manage leads through the sales funnel using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM), ensuring timely follow-ups and conversion tracking.
Collaboration: Coordinate with the marketing, academic, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and student satisfaction.
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
Feedback & Improvement: Gather insights from customers to improve sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and program offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field .
1-3 years of experience in sales, counseling, or business development (experience in EdTech preferred).
Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to confidently close sales and achieve/exceed monthly quotas.
Ability to build instant rapport and trust with diverse customers (especially parents) in a personal setting.
Ability to handle objections and challenging questions confidently and professionally.
Proven ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline, territory, and daily schedule effectively.
Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation: Mandatory due to the requirement of daily travel to customer residences for home demos.
Comfortable using laptops, tablets, or other digital tools necessary for product demonstrations.
