Job Title: Finance & Accounts Manager (CPA Mandatory)

Location: Gurugram (Onsite)

Our client specializes in Quantitative Proprietary Trading.

Role Overview

Our client are seeking an experienced Senior Finance & Accounts Manager with deep expertise in global taxation, particularly US tax frameworks and regulatory compliance to lead and strengthen their finance function in India and Global markets. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience managing cross-border taxation, regulatory reporting and financial governance within fast-paced, technology-driven trading environments. You will work closely with senior management and external stakeholders, supporting decision making in a highly regulated and fast paced financial markets environment.

Responsibilities

- Oversee end to end financial accounting, including trial balance, P&L and balance sheet finalization. - Manage multi-entity accounting structures across India and US trading operations. - Supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. - Ensure accurate reconciliation of trading books, P&L, and balance sheet accounts. - Support treasury, cash flow management, and capital allocation reporting. - Manage cross-border tax structuring for proprietary trading entities and subsidiaries. - Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory consultants globally. - Monitor compliance with global financial regulations relevant to proprietary trading and brokerage entities. - Manage statutory audits, tax audits, and internal compliance reviews. - Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions including GIFT City / US / other international markets (if applicable). - Maintain internal financial controls and governance processes. - Provide tax-efficient structuring recommendations for global trading operations. - Support leadership with financial risk assessments related to tax exposures and regulatory changes. - Partner with legal, compliance, and trading teams on international expansion initiatives. - Track and analyze global tax law changes impacting trading and financial services sectors. - Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams. - Collaborate with senior leadership, auditors, regulators, and global finance partners. - Drive automation and process improvements within finance and reporting functions.

Required Qualifications

- Certification of CPA. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, taxation, and regulatory compliance. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce. - Proven experience handling US taxation and international tax frameworks. - Experience working with financial services, trading firms, hedge funds, or brokerage environments preferred. - Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
