ITOM Senior Consultant

specializing in

CMDB (Configuration Management Database)

and

ServiceNow Discovery

to lead implementation, optimization, and governance of IT Operations Management solutions. The candidate will play a key role in designing scalable CMDB architectures, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling automation through Discovery tools. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of

CMDB

within ServiceNow Configure and manage

ServiceNow Discovery

for infrastructure and application mapping Ensure CMDB data quality, governance, and compliance with best practices Define and maintain

CI (Configuration Item)

classes, relationships, and data models Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams for data integration Implement

Service Mapping

and improve visibility of IT services Troubleshoot Discovery issues and optimize scan performance Work on integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and third-party tools Provide technical leadership and mentor junior consultants Support audits and ensure alignment with ITIL processes Required Skills Strong experience in

ServiceNow ITOM module Hands-on expertise in

CMDB design, implementation, and governance Experience with

ServiceNow Discovery, MID Server, and Service Mapping Knowledge of

ITIL framework

and IT operations processes Understanding of infrastructure technologies (Servers, Networks, Cloud) Experience in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API in ServiceNow) Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
