Performance Analyst (Solar)

We’re Hiring: Performance Analyst (Solar) with Leading EPC Firm!!

Experience: 6–7 years of experience in solar or renewable energy analytics

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Reporting to: Head – Analytics

Are you passionate about renewable energy and data-driven performance improvement? We are looking for an experienced Performance Analyst to drive operational excellence across our solar power portfolio.

Role Overview:

As a Performance Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of solar power plants. This position focuses on performance monitoring, loss analysis, MIS reporting, and delivering actionable insights to support O&M, Asset Management, and Leadership teams.

⚡ Key Responsibilities:

Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

- Track daily, monthly, and annual plant performance using SCADA and site-level data - Monitor KPIs: Generation, PR, CUF, Energy Yield, Availability & Losses - Identify underperformance, anomalies, and trends - Support root cause analysis with O&M teams - Ensure data validation (SCADA & historical datasets) - Maintain asset management documentation

MIS & Reporting:

- Prepare structured daily, weekly, monthly & annual MIS reports - Automate and standardize Excel-based reporting templates - Ensure accuracy and validation before circulation - Develop clear dashboards, charts, and visual reports

Insights & Decision Support:

- Translate raw data into actionable business insights - Conduct comparative performance analysis across sites - Support leadership reviews and strategic discussions

Analytics & Tools:

- Advanced MS Excel (mandatory) - Power BI (preferred) - Python for automation & analytics (added advantage) - Working knowledge of PVSyst

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Collaborate with O&M, SCADA, IT & Asset Management teams - Act as a key point of contact for performance analytics

Experience & Qualifications:

- 6–7 years of experience in solar/renewable energy analytics - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or related field
